Gail Jones Photography Exhibition

Elmworth Community Library has brought some of the natural beauty of the region INSIDE this month, with an exhibition of Gail Jones' Nature Photography.

A life-long Albertan, Gail lives on a ranch with her husband in the Rio Grande area where they grain farm and raise about 100 head of cattle. Gail discovered her passion for photography after the birth of her oldest son in 1987, but started seriously pursuing it several years ago. Upgrading her camera, taking several courses, reading books, articles and learning online as well as practicing her skills have improved her results dramatically. Her favourite mediums are landscape and wildlife and when she’s not capturing their cows and calves or the view and scenery on their homestead, Gail can often be found scouting the countryside for fresh scenery and inspiration and hoping to catch a glimpse of some of the local wildlife.

A selection of Gail's beautiful captures have been printed on canvas and are on display at Elmworth Community Library until April 20th. Everyone is welcome to drop in and take a look, with many prints also available for purchase.
