Welcome to Elmworth Community Library

The Elmworth Community Library is located in the Elmworth School at Elmworth, AB and serves both the student population and the community at large. This library was created in 1999 and is operated by community board members. The Elmworth Community Library is governed by the Grande Prairie Library Board and is also a member of the Peace Library System and Tracpac system.

The library is located in Elmworth School. Because the library is located in the school, all library visitors are asked to sign in at the main office during school hours. The office is located to the left of the main doors. The library is at the end of the hall, occupying the southwest corner of the school.

The ECL is run on a day-to-day basis by librarian Doreen Dunbar.

Membership includes:

Use of all library materials and computers and is 100% free. Proof of address within the County of Grande Prairie is required before membership will be issued. Members from other Peace Library System libraries and The Alberta Library card holders are welcome.  Computer terminals for public use.
