Meeting of the Library Society

Libraries are a great example of community collaboration. Did you know that the Elmworth Community Library is GOVERNED by the County of Grande Prairie Library Board, HOUSED by Peace Wapiti School District and GUIDED by the Elmworth Community Library Society. This local Society is charged with ensuring that what we do here is what's needed by, and beneficial to, the community we serve. We'd LOVE you to be a part of that group. There are many ways to be involved (choose books you think will round out our collection, assist in planning or carrying out programs & events, cover a shift here or there when our staffers are sick or at a conference, or just stay in touch & share your thoughts) but ALL of them start with becoming a member of the Library Society.
